Blue eyes flickered in the moonlight, then slowly disapeared into the soft green haze of the forest.
Moonlight lit every fern, every leaf. It looked like a whole new world. Besides the fact it probably was, the small figure ignored it. The she-cat was desprate.
Her pelt plastered to her sides as rain started to slowly fall from the sky in a drizzle... then started to suddenly downpoor.
She had pale orange and black fur, with a small stat-like symbol on her chest, and pale green eyes.
Her ears flicked as she sat down tiredly, setting down the small mewling white bundle under her to protect him from the rain.
"This is best for you, my sweet Soul." She nuzzled the kit tiredly, worn out form the long run.
The kit mewled hungrily, looking at his mom with glowing blue eyes.
She looked at him, pain striking her heart. "I must leave, Soul. Lets hope they don't kill you dear."
She didn't know who she was even refering to. Her home, or the ones who belonged to this territory.
She slipped away, paws stubbing on stones, running away form the kit to draw away to much attention. She skidded to a hault beside a river, panting.
Stopping to get a drink, she dipped her head. It was just enough time for a dark figure to creep up to her.
"Why Moon. So nice to see you... so soon.... and alone...?" The figure was a muscular white she-cat with scras dappleing her pelt.
Moon turned to face the she-cat, but before she could, she noticed somethign red creeping down from her throat... something wet and sticky coating her pelt.
She smiled though, a smirk creeping across her face. "Your to late, Avene. I got rid of him. He's dead. You'll never get your paws on him. And now that i'm dead... I can't call him back."
Avene hissed, while other cats started surounding Moon. "Why you little... what did you do to him?! I needed that little brat, Moon! And I didn't wound you enough to-"
Moon collasped, the light flickering from her eyes. The moon seemed to grow brighter... to bright.
Avene hissed and gritted her teeth. "Let go cats." She glanced at the she-cat. "Not breatheing. Pathetic. I'll get revenge on you..." She whipped around as the water started growing higher and snarled. "Lets hurry before she drowns us all!"
The cats disappeared into the shadows, heading to their camp... unaware... that they had a bigger problem to face than a dying she-cat...
